On Tuesday, a Federal I.C.E agent shot and killed Mattel‘s newest “Autism Barbie“ just weeks after the toy‘s release.
In an official statement, the Department of Homeland Security stated that it‘s officer mistook the Barbie‘s soundboard accessory for a handgun, and claimed the officer acted out of self defense when the doll refused to answer to his orders.
A Go-Fund Me has been created for the officer, who is currently suffering from severe PTSD.
Mattel posted a statement on its official X account, stating: “We stand with the officer and will immediately halt production of Autism Barbie. Also, we are sending $1 billion to Israel effective immediately.“
